GMT Linear Motion Elements include ball screw, ball screw support unit, coupling, crossed roller rails those are key components apply to linear motion. GMT own made ball screw support unit has support side with deep groove bearings assembled, and fixed side available to set light preload, medium preload, and heavy preload to support side when angular ball bearing is selected. Features of support units are increasing rotation accuracy and rigidity, and to reduce vibration and noise to the axle during rotation also to prevent scratch occurred from vibration during stopping motion. GMT ball screw support unit series are designed to protect axle diameter from 6 to 40 during transmission process, and support frame is able to be black dyed finish and electro less nickel plating finish upon application needs. GMT ball screw support unit fixed side offer three preload setting according to machineries request, light preload fits to small vibration, trust and load in one fixed direction, as well as equipment of low sliding resistance, such as automatic packaging machinery, small size digital mill machine, cutting or welding machine, tool exchanger device, stapling machine, digital laser welder machine and automatic window machining machineries. Medium preload fits to devices works cantilevered payload or torque, or single axis designed equipment performs light loading capacity with high accuracy, such feeding axis of grinding machine, automatic painting / coating machine, precision slide table, PC board punch machinery, industrial robot, EDM machinery, NC lathe and so on. High preload fits to high rigidity, vibration, thrust and torque equipment, such as machine center spindle, NC lathe, Z-axis of machinery, milling machine, grinding wheel feeding or grinding machinery.
