Riveted aluminum alloy frame with steel tracks integrated with GMT made ball screw to perform low inertia of motion to keep Ball screw driven linear drive a reliable repeatability positioning accuracy at ±5um, secured by well heat treatment process to the frame structure. The other hand, ball screw is assembly at the same level of tracks to have a higher dynamic allowable torque, and also the surface of sliding block is on the same level as motor after assembly, and no need to increase sliding block height in case full travel stroke of ball screw driven linear drive is need. Ball screw driven linear drive frame surface has been anodized treatment with antioxidant ability in regular application environment. Ball screw driven linear drive offer stepper motor and servo motor options, and a GMT made driver (board) has been attached to the motor end-frame in case the stepper motor type is chosen, which type performs advantages of space saving, and convenient from simplified wiring, and options of motor standard or side mounted types available. Ball screw driven linear drive is made in house by GMT in Taiwan, which has various assembly possibilities such as horizontal single X assembly, or cross X and Y axes assembly, or gantry assembly, multi-combinations are capable to wide application range of electronic industry, print industry, food packaging, semi-conductor industry, car industry, metal machining industry as well as small to medium size automation equipment.
